Technology

Technology plays a significant role in our practice by enhancing patient care and making treatments more comfortable, precise, and efficient. Because we can complete many tasks more quickly, you can also spend less time sitting in the dental chair. Please take a few moments to browse and see what we offer!

Digital X-Rays & Sensors

Our digital x-ray system captures detailed images of your teeth and bone structure instantly, using 90 percent less radiation than traditional film x-rays. These high-resolution images help us detect cavities, evaluate gum health, and plan treatments for all our dental services. You'll see your x-rays immediately on our chairside monitors, and we can easily share images with specialists when needed. The improved image quality helps us catch problems earlier while keeping you safer.

Intraoral Cameras

This small handheld camera captures detailed, full-color images of individual teeth and areas inside your mouth, displaying them instantly on our chairside monitors. The intraoral camera helps us show you exactly what we see, making it easier to understand treatment recommendations for cavities, gum issues, or cosmetic concerns. Used during exams, cleanings, and consultations, this technology improves communication and helps you make informed decisions about your dental care while building trust through transparency.

Digital Impressions

Our state-of-the-art digital scanner captures precise 3D models of your teeth using a comfortable handheld scanner, eliminating messy traditional impression materials. This technology creates highly accurate models for veneers, crowns, aligners, and other restorations in just minutes. Digital impressions are more comfortable, more accurate, and allow us to begin crafting your restoration immediately. You'll avoid the gagging and discomfort of traditional impressions while enjoying faster turnaround times and better-fitting final restorations.

Panoramic X-Rays

This specialized digital x-ray captures a complete view of your entire mouth, jaw, and surrounding structures in one comfortable scan. Taking just seconds to complete, panoramic x-rays help us evaluate wisdom teeth, plan implant placement, diagnose TMJ issues, and assess overall oral health during comprehensive exams. You simply stand still while the machine rotates around your head—no uncomfortable bite pieces required. This technology gives us a complete picture for better treatment planning.

CEREC® Same-Day Restorations

CEREC stands for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics. This technology allows us to design, create, and place custom crowns, inlays, and onlays in a single visit. Using digital impressions and precise milling, we craft restorations from durable ceramic blocks that match your natural teeth perfectly.

This technology eliminates temporary crowns, multiple appointments, and messy traditional impressions. You'll leave with your completed restoration the same day, saving time while enjoying beautiful, long-lasting results that look and feel completely natural.

Nitrous Oxide or "Laughing Gas"

Nitrous oxide, commonly called laughing gas, is a safe and effective way to help anxious patients feel relaxed during dental procedures. This colorless, odorless gas is mixed with oxygen and delivered through a comfortable nasal mask. You'll remain fully conscious and able to respond, but feel calm and at ease throughout your treatment. Used for everything from cleanings to complex procedures, nitrous oxide wears off quickly, allowing you to drive yourself home afterward.

Noise-Canceling Headphones

Our wireless noise-cancelling headphones block out dental equipment sounds while delivering clear audio from our treatment room TVs or your personal device. The headphones significantly reduce anxiety for patients who are sensitive to dental sounds, and you can enjoy your entertainment without interruption while we work.

TVs in Treatment Rooms

Every treatment room is equipped with a TV with Netflix access, helping you stay entertained and relaxed during procedures. Whether you're here for a routine cleaning or a longer cosmetic treatment, you can watch your favorite shows or movies to help time pass quickly. This comfort amenity works especially well for anxious patients and children, creating a more pleasant dental experience.
